In Person Newport Office Only

I like people. I love getting to know them, understanding their stories, and discovering the unique strengths and perspectives they bring to the world. I approach every client with fresh eyes, genuine hope, and the belief that no soul is beyond healing or meaningful change. I am particularly passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent individuals, and those who may have lost sight of their own worth or potential. I also welcome opportunities to work with younger clients, drawing on my background in education and school counseling. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, and am recognized by the state of Oregon as a Professional Counseling Associate.

I believe the stories we tell ourselves have a profound influence on how we see ourselves and our worth. I love helping clients explore the core beliefs that may be holding them back, understand where those beliefs began, and discover how they might reshape them. I believe healing isn't always about eliminating our struggles, but learning to understand them and approach ourselves with compassion rather than criticism. Together, we can explore ways for you to work with your difficulties rather than against yourself because of them, reshaping your story with greater self-acceptance, compassion, and hope. I also incorporate mindfulness, art, and other therapeutic interventions tailored to each person's unique needs. Above all, I strive to create a warm and judgment-free space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued. Being trusted with someone's story is an incredible privilege, and I approach that responsibility with deep respect, cultural humility, and hope. For those curious about the therapeutic approaches behind my work, I draw primarily from Narrative Therapy and humanistic, person-centered principles.

When working with younger children, I believe in treating them as whole, capable humans. I often incorporate play-based interventions to meet them where they are developmentally, helping them express themselves and build resilience, hope, and self-understanding. I also value collaboration with parents and caregivers, working together to nurture their child's growth both inside and outside the therapy room.
