Telehealth Only

"As a therapist, it is my deep belief that everyone can take control of their own life; moving between states of surviving, living, and even thriving with the right support. I operate from the perspective that everyone has their own strengths and interests that guide their journey, and I use a person-centered approach to adapt to what each individual needs. With that, I also utilize a strong base in somatic/body based interventions, neuropsychology, and mindful self compassion, all guided by what is relevant to your everyday life. We are all learning, growing humans, myself included, and when life throws challenges our way, we can absolutely overcome them and grow through the process."

Sophia is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Walden University. She has experience working with adults and teens living with a variety of mental health concerns, including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, and Anxiety, as well as conditions that impact daily living, such as systemic burnout and chronic illness.

My preferred client focus is ages 17+, but I am willing to work with folks as young as 14 if they have a good private space for and are interested in telehealth. I work really well with folks stuck in burnout, women needing support in finding their empowerment, and have a bit of experience with clients experiencing the mental health challenges related to chronic health conditions. I also really love working with folks who have interest in utilizing their spiritual lens in therapy."
