Jenny Feldman, LCSW

(They/She)

Telehealth Only

Jenny (they/ she) became a later-in-life therapist after many years of grassroots organizing work with LGBTQ+ youth and then Domestic Violence/ Sexual Assault survivor advocacy. They believe in the healing power of safe therapeutic relationships, and love working with a wide variety of folks, with a special affinity for grievers of all kinds.

I love working with activists, family scapegoats and black sheep, outliers, and whistleblowers. My goal is to collaborate with you to find the joy, connections, and moments of beauty that bring your life meaning. Maybe you're struggling to trust people after years of feeling lonely and misunderstood, or you've internalized messages that there's something wrong with you? Or you feel stuck in bodily sensations from trauma you thought you'd left behind? Together we can co-create the conditions of safety for you to begin healing. We can practice slowing down your reactions, get you used to saying “no” with confidence, and reminding that inner voice to start being as kind to you as it is to others. We can tease out the differences between wants & needs, grieve the things you've lost & left behind, and work towards feeling like your body & life are yours, maybe for the 1st time.

I’m transparent & collaborative in my approach, & my style is centered around building a warm, trusting alliance with my clients. I’m here to advocate for you, help you rediscover your strengths, & challenge you when you’re stuck.

I look forward to meeting you!
