Hi there! My name is Stacie Giese. I graduated from Adams State University in 2023 with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Ecology from Iowa State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of Oregon (OBLPCT #C10359) and National Certified Counselor (NBCC #1726923).

Throughout my life, I have navigated the challenges of difficult family of origin dynamics, chronic pain, limited resources, and single parenthood as a queer, neurodivergent, gender expansive human. I bring a trauma-informed, supportive, non-judgmental presence to the counseling relationship in an effort to help guide others toward healing and connection while navigating the challenges of their daily life.

I spent some time working in the fields of animal care, customer service, and management before finding my calling as a counselor. I have worked with both adults and adolescents in a variety of settings. If your concerns involve gender, sexuality, parenting, career issues, deepening relationships with others, or reconnecting with yourself authentically, I am honored to help guide your journey.

I offer a collaborative, client-centered approach incorporating elements of Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory, neuroscience, mindfulness techniques, and creativity to find a framework for therapy that works for each client. We will work together to find meaningful goals for you, and then work together to achieve them. I am currently seeing clients virtually in the state of Oregon.
